It's office party season once again. And if that prospect is enough to send a shudder right through you, then remember that someone has to give the office party speech. Humour always works well in the office party speech. And more so if it's self-deprecating. However, your speech isn't the central event of the evening. In fact, at best, it's an early aperitif. Short, well-delivered and then it's over. Since it is a party after all.
