Oxford has one of the great speaking traditions in the world. The Oxford Union has been sharpening debaters, politicians and public figures for nearly two hundred years — and it features more than once on the Time to Market blog as a masterclass in what great public speaking looks like. It's an appropriate place, then, to work on your own presentation skills.

We've been training clients in Oxford for many years, working at a series of venues on the ring road where access is reliably straightforward — far easier than trying to navigate into the city centre. Our current training centre is on Oxford Science Park, to the south of the city.

Who Trains Here?

Our Oxford venue draws clients from across the region. If you're based in:

  • Oxford and Abingdon — the Science Park is a short drive south of the city, straightforward from most directions
  • Aylesbury — well connected via the A41 and the M40
  • Swindon — the M4/A34 route brings you in comfortably from the west
  • Milton Keynes — the M40 is a direct run, typically under an hour

Whether you're preparing for a conference keynote, a board presentation, a sales pitch or simply want to feel more confident on your feet, training close to home means less time travelling and more time practising

  • Fear of Public Speaking: Overcome your fear of public speaking with expert coaching and training in Oxford.

What's Included

Every session includes full refreshments and lunch, all training materials, and one-to-one coaching from Andrew Ivey, Principal Trainer at Time to Market.

PresentPerfect™ is our core presentation skills course — practical and hands-on, available as a half day or full day. It combines individual coaching, demonstration and structured practice. Public courses are limited to a maximum of six participants, so every attendee gets real feedback rather than being lost in a crowd.

We also run corporate presentation training for groups from a single organisation, at the Science Park centre or at your own offices.

The venue

Oxford Science Park is accessible from the Eastern bypass (A4142) and the M40, making it a practical choice whether you're driving in from Oxford itself, coming up from Abingdon, or travelling across from Swindon or Milton Keynes. If you're coming by public transport, it's around 30 minutes from Oxford railway station by bus, or a comfortable 10 minutes by taxi.

The centre has all the facilities expected for a productive training day — proper training rooms, full audio-visual support, wireless internet, and the kind of quiet, professional environment that lets people focus on learning rather than fielding calls from the office.
